Hello Falcons!
 
     We are excited to share the next event hosted by FUMAA! On November 9th, 2024 at 6:00pm in the Robert Trocchia Performing Arts Center, FUMAA will host “A Choral Homecoming”.
​
     This event will be our 2nd FUMAA choral event and will be bigger and better as we feature choral groups district wide in addition to our Alumni Chorus. Students in several grade levels from elementary through high school along with alumni, will come together to perform old and new repertoire for our community to enjoy. We will feature groups individually and combined as we perform multiple pieces to provide an hour long performance. (Don’t worry, alumni won’t be standing on the stage for the entire hour.)

     During our last choral event in 2023, we accepted your song requests and have ensured a few of those recommendations have made the list. “Lo How A Rose” was the most requested, and it is indeed included in the repertoire. Dr. Young has been gracious enough to personally arrange a very moving and energetic chart of “America the Beautiful” for us to perform alongside some instrumental accompaniment. This will be a very exciting piece to perform. We will get all music posted soon and be sure to make an announcement when it is up.

     As with all FUMAA alumni events, they wouldn’t be complete without our gracious and talented directors coming back to guide their previous students through the rehearsals and performances. I know this is a highlight for many of us. We are in the process of sharing the performance information and inviting all of our directors back to join us for this large event.
​
     The black polo shirts we wore in 2023 will again be the requested “uniform” along with black pants/skirt. If you need to purchase a shirt, please

     This event will require you to register in the same fashion as our other alumni events. Please click/tap the Registration button above.

Rehearsals...
...will be held at Fairfield Union High School on Wednesday, November 6th from 6-8:30 and Friday, November 8th from 6-8:30.
We will announce a rehearsal/call time  for Saturday, November, 9th at a later date.
